Golf Club Management
Our management team has significant experience in the golf industry. The Teed Up organisation was established to develop niches in Golf Travel, Golf Retail and Golf Infrastructure and has been involved in Golf Club Management since 2003, when it was approached to take over the marketing and administration of Club 19.
Club 19 is a business networking golf club that in 2003 had declining membership and was losing money. In the seven years that we have been running the organisation we have delivered some astounding results, including implementing new marketing initiatives and doubling members in an 18 month period. Today, the club is profitable and well regarded and has contributed significantly to our goal of providing great experiences for golfers of all level.
In 2007 we commenced (and continue to manage) the golf operations at Long Reef Golf Club. We oversee all competition management, starting duties and day to day operations of the pro shop including collecting green fees and hiring carts on behalf of the club. We are responsible for marketing the club to corporate clients, potential new members, public players and social groups.
Teed Up is the largest inbound and outbound golf travel company in Australia and its retail arm turns over more than $2m annually. We have developed significant expertise in golf marketing and management and now organises and promote a wide number of corporate golf days. Our local and international golf tours have given us a broad exposure to the running of golf operations and what makes a great golf experience, which we bring to all our operational management roles.
Of course our expertise and experience is not limited to the life of Teed Up. For example Michael Mosher who is our Director of Golf played on the Australasian Golf Tour for ten years before moving into golf course management. His broad experience as the GM of the private Mt Broughton GC and the public Bowral Country Club allows him to assess options of all types of facilities.
