Our current golf package for Bintan Island consists of 6 nights stay and 4 games of golf at a few of the best golf courses. This package has a flexible accomodation option, with the choice of either the Superior or Deluxe Sea Facing room at the Bintan Lagoon resort near Singapore, set amongst more than 300 hectares of beachfront gardens.

Golf Courses

Bintan Island is home to many courses that are challenging to all levels of skill. Some of these are:

• Woodlands Course, designed by Ian Baker Finch and with the front nine holes snaking out from the resort and the back nine to the clubhouse, this course has been laid over dramatically changing terrain. 
• Sea View Course, desgined by Jack Nicklaus, the course offers majestic sculptured bunkers, a strategic use of the natural landscape and some unique water hazards.

Golf Holiday Activities

Leisure activities for when your not on the green in Bintan Island include:

• Penyengat Island - Time seems to come to a standstill in Penyengat Island. Once the epicentre of the Malay Riau-Lingga empire, the island is steeped in history – full of historical monuments and interesting relics of the past.
•  Bintan Elephant Park - Home to eight magnificent Sumatran elephants trained to perform all sorts of delightful tricks, Bintan Elephant Park offers visitors an exciting interactive adventure with these gentle beasts. Watch as they make perfect 360-degree turns on their hind legs and jive to disco music, and enjoy the forest scenery while riding on their backs afterwards. Visitors also get a chance to feed these elephants, while at the same time learning more about them – their dietary and living habits, individual and group behaviour.
